Mr. Costello is an associate at Stoneman, Chandler & Miller LLP, practicing management side labor and employment law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Costello was the Director of Labor Relations, at the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. Mr. Costello was responsible for all employee and labor relations matters within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
Prior to working at the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Mr. Costello was a labor relations attorney with the City of Boston. As an attorney with the City of Boston, Mr. Costello represented the City at collective bargaining sessions, arbitrated contractual grievances, and tried administrative trials before Commonwealth Agencies.
Prior to working at the City of Boston, Mr. Costello was an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where he tried more than twenty-five cases to jury verdict. He began his career there at the Roxbury Division of the Boston Municipal court, and from 2012 to 2014, was a part of the Safe Neighborhood Initiative, focusing on cases that affected the quality of life in the Upham’s Corner and Grove Hall neighborhoods of Roxbury and Dorchester. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Costello was also member of the Gang Unit, in the office’s Superior Court Division.
Mr. Costello is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Costello received his law degree from Suffolk University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Providence College.
