Kate Clark is a Partner at Stoneman, Chandler & Miller LLP. Her practice concentrates on representing public and private employers. Ms. Clark regularly helps employers find appropriate solutions to difficult employee issues, represents employers in agency investigations and audits, and provides education and training to employers to help them comply with the myriad of employment law requirements that apply in the contemporary workplace. In addition to practicing in the field of employment law, she also has a background in litigation.
Ms. Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts from College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine, and earned her law degree from Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont, where she was a member of the Vermont Law Review and earned the Learned Hand Award for Academic Excellence. She is a member of the Massachusetts, Maine and Federal Bars.
Prior to joining Stoneman Chandler & Miller LLP in 2000, Ms. Clark was an associate at a Portland, Maine law firm in its litigation practice group. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard H. Dana, Jr. on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
