Ms. Hodge is a partner in the firm of Stoneman, Chandler & Miller LLP, where she represents public and private sector management in labor, employment, and employee relations matters, including defending employers in employment related litigation and advising employers on methods and procedures to avoid litigation. She has successfully represented employers in a number of cases before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, including Adams v. City of Boston, 461 Mass. 602 (2012), Boston Housing Authority v. National Conference of Firemen and Oilers Local 3, 458 Mass. 155, (2010), and Matthews v. Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., 426 Mass. 122 (1997).

Ms. Hodge lectures frequently to various attorney and human resources groups and provides training to managers and supervisors in all areas of labor and employment law and supervisory compliance issues. She has also written articles on labor and employment related topics, including the Fair Labor Standards Act and Wage & Hour Issues, Unfair Labor Practices under the National Labor Relations Act, and Equal Employment Law Compliance.

Ms. Hodge has been selected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and for membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. She also holds Martindale-Hubbell’s, AV Peer Review Rating and is regularly selected as a Best Lawyer and Super Lawyer.

Ms. Hodge is the Massachusetts State Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates, past member of the ABA Board of Governors, past chair of the ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity. She is Chair of the ABA Section on Individual Rights and Responsibilities. She is a member of the Board of Directors, and past chair of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation. She is also a past President of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the National Conference of Bar Presidents.

Ms. Hodge has been a member of numerous commissions including the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Council evaluating and recommending candidates for Massachusetts state court judicial appointments, and the Supreme Judicial Court’s Commission to Study Racial and Ethnic Bias in the Courts.

Ms. Hodge serves on the Board of Directors of several non profit entities, including Greater Boston Legal Services, the Newbury College in Boston, Boys and Girls Club of Metrowest, Inc. and Advocates, Inc. She also serves on the Board of Advisors of Bay Cove Human Services, Inc. and the Boston University Law Alumni Association Executive Committee. She is an Overseer Emeritus of Whitman College and past Overseer of WGBH. She is a past Board member of the American Arbitration Association, Meadville/Lombard Theological School, Starr King School for Ministry, and United Way of Tri-County, Inc.

Ms. Hodge has received the Massachusetts Bar Association Gold Medal for outstanding legal services in Massachusetts benefiting the public, the legal profession and the Association (1999), the Boston University Alumni Association Alumni Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession (1996), and the Boston University School of Law Silver Shingle Award (1995).

Ms. Hodge received a B.A. from Boston University and a J.D., and LL.M in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law. She clerked for Chief Judge Raymond J. Pettine of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Ms. Hodge is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States District Courts for Massachusetts and Colorado, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
